Friends of the Red Bank Public Library invite lovers of libraries, books and bargains to a Used Book Sale in honor of Library Lovers Month. The sale will take place at the library on Saturday, February 6, 10-4.

( A bag sale will take place Monday, February 8, 10-12.....fill your bag )

To kick off the sale there will be a preview event on Friday, February 5, 7-9pm. With a suggested donation of $5 library lovers can join us for wine and cheese, raffle items and first dibs at the book sale.

Don't miss this opportunity to mingle and jostle as everyone realizes there are such great books at such a great price.

"BOTH WAYS IS THE ONLY WAY I WANT IT"

Maile Meloy is not a first time author nor is she a stranger to awards. But this is the first I've heard of her. I hope to hear lots more of her after this.

After being named one of the top ten books of 2009 by the New York Times, I should get to know her name even if I cannot always quite remember the title of this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book of short stories. Sometimes it is nice to read just a short story without feeling committed to the book. But I found I started the next story just as soon as I finished one. They were wonderful - except maybe the final story of the book. Too bad because this left me a little disappointed....but only a little.
